I moved from Deer Lake, NL, to Fort McMurray, AB, in 1997. I’m a outdoor junkie I love hunting, fishing, backpacking, skydiving, and snowmobiling. Basically any outdoor activity has my attention and anything to feel that adrenaline rush. My passion for sledding started at the age of 5. Started out on a Polaris Indy trail 500 with a well beaten path around the house, eventually sneaking across the road to “the pit”. To this day I am hooked wishing summers away to feel the rush that fuels the fire. Since 2005 99% of my riding has been done in British Columbia’s beautiful backcountry.

My riding style consist of a little bit of everything. Favorite types of riding are steep and deep technical slopes with epic pow descents, boondocking through trees and meadows in British Columbia’s amazing backcountry. Nothing compares to the feeling you get when rolling up on a big juicy drop or the rush when hitting a natural booter.

The ultimate day for me would be bluebird with 2-3′ of fresh pow surrounded by 360* mountain top ranges and sharing it with good friends that constantly push each other’s limits, topped off with bumming gas to make it back to the truck.

Can’t really say I have a preference I enjoy the deep pow days of early season because they are so forgiving and you can push yourself a little farther. Spring riding are great times as well, almost guaranteed bluebird days with T-shirt weather, those are days I’ll never complain about.
